Dyadic Applied BioSolutions Expands into Japan and Korea

Oxford, UK / Jupiter, FL — 6 November 2025 — International business development consultancy Intralink has been appointed by US biotech innovator Dyadic International, Inc. (d/b/a Dyadic Applied BioSolutions (NASDAQ: DYAI)) to enhance the company’s commercial presence in Japan and South Korea — two of Asia’s most advanced and fast-growing biopharmaceutical markets.
Dyadic, headquartered in Florida, develops precision-engineered, animal-free proteins and enzymes for use across life sciences, food and nutrition, and industrial applications.
Building on its existing relationships with vaccine and biologics manufacturers in Asia, Dyadic is looking to expand access to two high-value products with significant potential in the region. These are DNase 1 (RNase free), an enzyme used in biologics and mRNA manufacturing; and Human Transferrin, a recombinant version of transferrin widely used in research and cell culture media for biopharmaceutical production.
Operating from 27 global locations, Intralink specializes in helping companies expand internationally across Asia, Europe and North America, with deep expertise in life sciences, medtech, and advanced manufacturing.
Under the new collaboration, Intralink’s Tokyo and Seoul-based life sciences teams will lead targeted business development efforts to identify, prioritize and engage strategic partners, distributors and CDMOs on Dyadic’s behalf. These activities aim to establish direct supply relationships and platform licensing opportunities for Dyadic’s products across both markets.
The initiative aligns with strong regional trends. Japan and South Korea are investing heavily in biologics and cell and gene therapy (CGT) infrastructure, with a growing emphasis on the use of animal-origin-free components for manufacturing consistency and regulatory compliance. South Korea’s rapidly expanding CDMO sector and Japan’s focus on innovation and quality present particularly attractive opportunities for Dyadic’s recombinant protein portfolio.
